The Many Adventures of Two Teddy and Lindsay Lou: January Joys

So we have had a few adventures since our last update. The week before school started was a ton of fun, and it was nice to be able to take the time to just be us. We had to watch out though, because our killer jaguar and moose that Santa brought us were liable to attack at ANY moment! To escape the terrible monsters, we took a drive aiming for a distant hill in the Northish Logan area. We ended up at a Lion's Park that was awesome. Besides the random teenagers that were all over each other, it was great. We got to swing, and there was this awesome slide built right into the hillside! Totally want. Funny story; the swings were questionable. The welding job was on the verge of breaking, and yep, it broke when we were sitting on it. I didn't think we had put that many pounds on at Christmas! It was the squeaky cheese from Gossner's I bet . . .

Our adventures continue with Lou's birthday. Blech. 22 is just such a boring age to be. To make this more interesting, we had this brilliant plan that we should go to Trafalga and play laser tag, then do a round of Mini Golf. We were meeting up with Ty and Liz there at the park. Major miserable fail. The wait for laser tag was horrendous, and it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. They didn't give you enough time in the "oh so cool set" to even find someone. Me and Isabell didn't get hardly a shot in. But Teddy, oh yes, he made sure that he was the top of the list. (Grrr). Also, there were so many kids that you couldn't breathe, much less move. Moral: NEVER go to Trafalga on a Saturday. Afterwards we went to Matty's and had Wetback, excuse me, Mexican Delight. Tasty goodness, but it made me miss Dad. It was just Teddy and I on my real birthday on Tuesday. We had a great time eating Papa Murphy's and watching Disney Movies.

The last adventure we should probably mention was last weekend. First of all, we went to Ty and Liz's house for a couple nights. It was super fun, and we had a blast playing with them. Teddy and Tyler went fishing on Saturday while Liz and Lou crafted. It is hard to say who was more productive or had more fun. Both parties swear it was them.

During our tasty breakfast of germade, we heard something in the park - a CRAAASH!!! No "Timber!" no warning, just the trees falling. Just Dad wispering in our ears "Free wood! You can't pass that up!" So being members of the Draper clan, we went to ask the nice workers what they were going to do with all that wood. Nothing. So we took it. Five loads of very LARGE pieces. They were large enough to make a chair out of (which Jess and Teddy did). And this is the best part - Matty has been getting more. Mom is going to have so much wood! YAY! Oh the joys of getting wood. The best part is this - Sara, Mom and I were shopping the whole time. Not yay for spending way to much money spent at Costco . . .
